What if the death occurred at a hospital?
Inform hospital staff that you have selected Colton Sunflower Burial and Cremation. We will coordinate transportation and release.
What if the coroner is involved?
If the case is under the jurisdiction of the San Bernardino County Coroner, we coordinate directly with their office once authorization is granted.
Is transportation available 24 hours?
Yes. Transportation services are available 24 hours a day.
Is embalming required?
Embalming is not required for direct cremation or immediate burial.
Can we have a viewing before cremation?
Yes. Private family viewing and chapel services are available prior to cremation.
Do you operate your own crematory?
Yes. Our Colton facility includes an on-site crematory.
What is witness cremation?
Witness cremation allows family members to observe the placement into the cremation chamber.
Are urns available?
Yes. Urn and memorial options are available during arrangements.
Is a casket included in burial packages?
Yes. Burial packages include a Batesville 20-Gauge Steel Casket (Apollo Model).
Can we upgrade the casket?
Yes. Alternative casket options are available.
Do you offer pre-planning?
Yes. Pre-arranged funeral plans are available.
Is a General Price List available?
Yes. A GPL is available prior to arrangements.
